Hello students and parents! Welcome to Mr. Radcliffe's history website. This is where you will find important information, daily agendas, homework, and assignments. If you need any help or have any questions, send me a message at the contact page above. We are going to have a fantastic school year!
About me...
I was born and raised in Orange County and moved to Riverside County in 1999. As I was growing up, I was always fascinated with Hot Wheels, building model cars, and drawing. I loved history and learning about things that happened in the past. My personal interests in history grew from seeing how much of an impact the past has on the present and future. I also love to visit as many historic sites as possible.
My passion for history began in high school but it never occurred to me that it was something I would be lucky enough to turn into a job. After I graduated from high school in Temecula, I earned my AA at Palomar College and was accepted to Cal State San Marcos. I earned my Bachelor's in History from CSUSM in 2013 and went on to earn my teaching credential from the University of Redlands.
When I'm not in my classroom, I can be found spending time with my wife (who also teaches) and our little mutt, Sadie. I also restore vintage cars and do custom metal work and welding. I enjoy growing cactus and succulents and traveling with my wife.
I believe the key to making history exciting is finding your own interests as you learn about the essentials. I also understand how important it is to have a great history teacher and I am proud to be part of an amazing team here at EMS!
